how am i supposed to know which rom is the correct one when they are not labeled thusly?
for example, i'm going to play 464 donkey kong. neither of the 2 roms are named "uk".

Depends on what database that is used. The Amstrad CPC list is mostly GoodCPC based, but I do eventually intend to switch it to be based on the MESS softlists, which are loaded from .zip/.7z by CRC, just like system or device ROMs are. This will require a *lot* of work on the softlist itself, at it is very much unorganised (we can blame Haze for that Wink).

I also intend to do the same for the X68000 list, but that at least won't require much fiddling with the softlist itself, as it was from only a single source (TOSEC).
