It would be cool if HARP could display the name of the games in japanese also, don't you think? Very Happy

This can be helpful for a source of japanese names:

MJS - I wouldn't have a clue as to how to do that programmatically... if anybody has some assistance on that, then I'll look into it.

Added the following:

- Add titles to the player information. This will be a Pete-editable field only.
- For Speccy Tour 2006: Create a specialized Most Stages wins game so people can enter scores but the ranking still sorts by most stages in the least time.
- Create an option in all profiles to list comments, confirmations, and edits underneath each entry in the search/uploads page
- Create a comments table for anybody to edit... by default. Derogetory comments will cause them to lose that ability of course.

The first three ideas were self-created... the second idea brought up because we were forced to have nothing in the score when it came to Glug Glug.

The fourth idea was brought up by MJS on #marp.

And just like that, MJS's request for commenting is completed. Anybody may comment if they wish - check out the comment link underneath the utilities link for each recording.

I don't know either, but if you like the idea, we could start doing it manually and then look into ways of doing it programmatically.

Nice! Now let's use this feature instead of the confirmation remarks and see how it goes.
Gb9, something I've noticed is that the comments don't show up in the log. Did you forget adding that or you left them out intentionally?

Also, keep in mind I am not requesting anything. I am just telling you my ideas as they come to mind so that we discuss them and eventually come up with better ideas.

Yeah I'll get the comments into the logs somewhere along the alley...

Comments are now in the logs after a lengthy bug fixing session. Smile

Added the following:

- Add a note in the submission script that talks about multipling one's score for playing harder difficulty games.

I think that rule would be much better if it required the game to be finished for the multiplier to take effect. Otherwise it could potentially get very silly.

COMPLETED:

- Add a way to easily transfer a game from one competition to another. (eg move a game from regulation play to clone competitions, etc.)

That's at the last line of the game edit screen for those that have that access... applies to edits only though!

ADDED:

- Improve the organization of news items

COMPLETED:

- For Speccy Tour 2006: Create a specialized Most Stages wins game so people can enter scores but the ranking still sorts by most stages in the least time.
- Clarified ranking sort order descriptions (from "most points wins" to "most points, most stages, least time", for example)

ADDED: (this one is Chad's idea)

- Add hyperlinks over the emulator to point to pages to download emulators

Is there a way to search for un-confirmed recordings for different systems? Would be nice if that was possible.

Also, a possibility to sort by what games was confirmed the most overall and for different systems Smile

Bye.
