The CPC driver isn't fully working in 0.130, as Judge is (still) converting it to use MAME's 6845 code. Seems he wants to get demos working correctly before he commits the finished code. :)

So far the cpc driver and msx driver are not working as well as they used to, hopefully i can release wolfmess130 by this weekend, the image loading was tweaked enough to where the image cache design must be reinvented.

Currently I just load an image copy it to an uncompressed cache file and then unload the temp image and switch imagepath names, but this isn't working due to the change in how slots and images are now initialized.

Go ahead and release it anyway Skito, the msx problem sounds like a bug of mess itself anyway.

I will do more testing and let you know if I have the fix or I will submit a bug report.

Thanks!

Won't compile for me.

Code:
cc1: warnings being treated as errors
src/emu/inptport.c:300: warning: ?deque_swapped_image_cache? defined but not used
make: *** [obj/sdl/mess/emu/inptport.o] Error 1

I don't use sdl130.diff, instead I manually add CCOMFLAGS += -m32 and LDFLAGS += -m32 -L/usr/lib32 to build a 32-bit version on 64-bit Ubuntu.

try this. I compile all patches needed into one patch in the correct order from the sdl source (there shouldn't be any platform issues with sdf130.diff which should handle 32 build issues by itself) and put here. The deque function is defined in inptport.c so maybe you applied a different wolf patch other than 130 first which would fail the wolfmess inptport.c hunk?

Ok, I see, it does miss one hunk in inptport.c. Unfortunately, the same thing happens when I use the diff you posted.
Code:
Hunk #9 FAILED at 4308.
1 out of 9 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/emu/inptport.c.rej

So... what exactly is the correct order for the standard patches?

the order is defined in messcompile.sh

WOLFPATCHES="wolf$2.diff dipports$2.diff inpview$INPVIEWVERSION-$2.diff"
PATCHES="$WOLFPATCHES mjs_$2.diff wolfmess$2.diff"

this hunk failure problem is due to the fuzz factor messing up the order of the patch, i fixed it and re-uploaded the correct line number in the patch #9 hunk in:

http://emulators.homeactionreplay.org/sdlbuild/sdlmess0130-wolf.diff

If it works i'll also fix wolfmess130-src.zip. so marp is dead for now?

Yes, it compiles now (and hopefully it runs Smile).

And yes, MARP is dead until a new host is found.
