Hello everyone,
at last I have submitted some scores to HARP!!
Frankie has been to me for winvice as Barry and Skito were for MAME command line!
I thank you all for your extreme patience.
I will eventually get going with other emulators, and hopefully MESS, also.
it's just a bit too tricky to sort out.
After using CCS64 for about 3 years, I gotta say, winvice is quite buggy. it makes some games much more difficult to play. fire button don't respond good enough, fire button interrupts sound/graphics, etc. it's ok, though.
Anyway, I'm glad I made it!
cheers, fella's.
Cool

I'm no expert on C64 games at all, so it's hard for me to judge what emulator is the best of the two, but does Vice64 not give the graphics back best as it were on the original machine? But, maybe CCS64 can be set to not looking so blocky Smile

Vice has a real retro style UI. Old-style X11 GUI is not very common these days (where you use the left mouse button to move a scrollbar down, and the right button to move a scrollbar up, and only a single click to open a directory or file in a file dialog). Smile
